Puffins of Skomer

Skomer Island off the coast of Pembrokeshire in Wales has a large growing population of Atlantic Puffins. The island is also home to many other birds, including around three quarters of a million Manx Shearwater. Despite the large numbers, the Manx Shearwater are more heard than seen due their habit of returning after dark and heading back to sea before dawn.
